Athena ("the App") is a privacy-first, local-only calendar analysis application.

This Privacy Policy explains how Athena handles data.

1. Core Privacy Principle

Athena is designed so that calendar data never leaves your device.

We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your calendar data.

2. Calendar Access

Athena accesses your calendar using read-only permissions provided by third-party calendar services.

Supported providers may include:

  • Google Calendar
  • Microsoft Outlook Calendar

Calendar access is used solely to:

  • read event timing and duration
  • analyze schedule structure locally on your device

Athena cannot:

  • create events
  • modify events
  • delete events
  • write data back to your calendar

3. How Data Is Processed

All calendar analysis occurs entirely on your device.

No calendar data (including titles, attendees, descriptions, or metadata) is:

  • uploaded
  • transmitted
  • stored on Athena servers

Athena does not perform server-side inference on calendar data from any supported calendar provider.

4. Data Storage

  • Calendar-derived data is stored only on your device
  • Local data is stored using encrypted persistence
  • Deleting the application permanently removes all associated data

Because Athena does not receive or store calendar data on servers, we do not retain copies of your data.

5. Data Sharing

Athena does not:

  • sell user data
  • share user data
  • aggregate user data across users
  • use calendar data for advertising or analytics

There are no third-party trackers or analytics SDKs in the app.

6. User Accounts

Athena does not require you to create an account.

No personal profiles, identifiers, or behavioral histories are stored by Athena.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data remains on your device:

  • You may delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app
  • There is no server-side data to request deletion for

8. Changes to This Policy

If Athena's data handling practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
